The Bristol region secured funding from Innovate UK in 2022 because it turns university research into real products.

This investor company has invested between £50k and £1m in Albion Technologies and Yuup. It offers networking and funding support to startps. In this way, it assists local businesses. 

Mercia

Mercia is headquartered in Bristol. It invests £500k-£5m in every small business from seed to series B stages. It focuses on tech startups throughout Bristol, Exeter, and Cheltenham. 

This investor company joins hands with SETSquared Bristol to support businesses. Mercia believes that South West is one of the most underserved markets that has great potential.

Science Creates Ventures

Science Creates Ventures invests in advanced technologies of small businesses. These technologies include quantum and biotech. It has invested in a dozen startups with  £13.7m fund in the previous year. 

This company was established by professional tech entrepreneurs. Some of its major investments can be seen in cell therapy and medical startups. 

QantX

QantX was established in 2021 by seasoned entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs have enriched backgrounds. This company concentrates on investing in health and sustainability plans.

Unlike other companies, it also invests in pre-seed. This company operates in Engine Shed and Bristol. It is aiming to launch a £100m+ in the following year.
