5 AI-infused products and robots that will change your life: CES 2024 highlights
The CES 2024 event has always been a place to show off the newest and best tech, and this year has been no different. A lot of robots and products with AI at the event are meant to make our lives easier. Here are some of the best robots and AI innovations that have been showcased at CES 2024 so far:
Motion Pillow
The Motion Pillow is an AI-infused pillow that uses airbags to lift your head and open your airway to reduce snoring. The accompanying app tracks sleep data, including snoring time, airbag operation time, sleep score, sleep time, and even recordings of your snoring to play back later.
The combination of the ring with the pillow, known as motion sleep, earned the CES 2024 Innovation Award in the Smart Home category. The Motion Pillow alone costs $699, but it’s 40% off during the CES exhibition period, retailing at $420.
LG’s Smart Home Robot
LG showed off a new robot at CES that they say will make your smart home a “Zero Labor Home.” Powered by artificial intelligence, this butler bot is capable of managing your smart devices and monitoring your pets while you are away.
The approximately one-foot-tall, endearing LG robot traverses your home on two legs, enabling it to detect potential problems and even interpret your emotions in order to provide an enhanced experience overall. The LG robot’s ability to function as a friendly household companion gradually improves due to the incorporation of Qualcomm’s Robotics RB5 Platform, which utilizes artificial intelligence to discern your preferences and actions.
Oro pet companion robot
Ogmen Robotics’s Oro pet companion robot was on display at CES 2024. It is designed to provide companionship to people who are unable to keep pets due to allergies, space constraints, or other reasons.
The robot can mimic the behavior of a real pet, including wagging its tail, barking, and responding to touch. It can also be programmed to perform certain tasks, such as reminding users to take their medication or turn off the lights. The robot is priced at $1,499.
AMD XDNA Architecture AI Processing System
AMD’s XDNA Architecture AI Processing System is designed to accelerate machine learning and artificial intelligence workloads. It is built on the company’s Infinity Architecture and features a new XDNA instruction set that is optimized for AI workloads. The system is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2024.
Chowis MySkin F.A.I.N., AI Skincare Tool
Chowis MySkin F.A.I.N. is an AI-powered skincare tool that analyzes your skin and recommends personalized skincare routines. The device uses a combination of AI, computer vision, and machine learning to analyze your skin’s texture, tone, and hydration levels. It then recommends a personalized skincare routine based on your skin’s needs. The device is priced at $399.
These are just a few of the many AI-infused products and robots that have been showcased at CES 2024. With so many AI-related announcements at CES this year, it can be difficult to distinguish between what’s simple AI-washing and what’s actual visionary technology. However, these products have distinguished themselves from the rest based on factors such as helpfulness, uniqueness, and purposefulness.
